What Makes A Good Triathlon Cycling Shoe?
Okay guys this is a bit of a quickie and follows on from a bit of a debate that we have been having in the cycling shoes direct office - what makes a good triathlon shoe?
We have been working on a new sister site called TriathlonWetsuitsGuide.co.uk which is a pretty awesome website for those looking to find out more about wetsuits and even buying them. So far we have the big four brands loaded and they are 2XU Wetsuits, Aqua Sphere Wetsuits, Orca Wetsuits and Quintana Roo Wetsuits. No doubt there will be some great content appearing there in the next few weeks and months and we hope to grow the site to be as successful as this site.
Anyway I digress, back to the original question of what makes a good triathlon cycling shoes? Well we have pretty much got in nailed down to a few key points:
- BIG single strap to allow for easy foot entry and fastening.
- Loops at the back of the show to allow to fasten the shoe to the rear with an elastic band.
- Stiff sole
- Breathable
- Quick drying
